ANALOGUE Fire Systems
ADDRESSABLE FIRE SYSTEMS
A typical analogue
addressable fire system is wired in the form of a continuous loop. The loop
terminates at the panel then is connected to every device in turn and finally
returns to the fire alarm control panel and completes the loop.
Detectors and call points
are electronically assigned to the various zones via software that is programmed
into the panel.
The advantage of an analogue addressable system is that as well as providing a
LED zonal indication you can pin point, the exact location of the device or
devices that are in the fire condition.
The control and indicating equipment has the facility to hold text against every
addressable point.
