Conventional Fire Systems
A typical conventional fire alarm system, is divided into zones , by the use of single hard wired detection circuits emanating from a single or multi-zone conventional fire alarm control panel. Each zone has up to 20 automatic detectors or call points connected.
An end
of line monitoring device is fitted to the last device on the circuit to allow
the panel to signal fault conditions and head removal.
Electronic sounders or bells are connected to the two sounder outputs to provide
an audible warning of a fire condition.
Fire and Fault conditions are indicated on the control panel via an LED display.
A conventional panel will indicate the position of the activity by zone, which may contain a number of detectors and call points.
