Sapphire plus "ES"
Entry / Exit High- Low Sounder

Description

The Sapphire Plus EST is an Entry / Exit Sounder featuring a high efficiency peizo sounder. The Sapphire Plus EST has two sounder modes a High Volume siren which sounds like a classic English police car (mee-maa mee-maa) and a low volume sound which is a pulsed tone. The low volume pulsed tone can be adjusted to a desirable level by an adjustable potentiometer on the PCB. The Volume tone can be select to be a constant tone, this is desirable for control panels that are capable of making different tone sequences.

Connection and operation is Simple. Four terminals provides the power supply and the trigger input. All power is drawn through the +12V and 0V terminals, 2 terminal provide the sounder trigger inputs, when a low volume entry/exit tone is required apply a switched 0V to the 0V E/E terminal, and when a high volume sound is required apply a switch 0V signal to the SNDR 0V terminal.

By using the 2 independent power terminals and separate sounder trigger terminals, the NEW Sapphire Plus EST is ideally suited for Control Panels Like DSC which have a limited current capability from the sounder output terminals.
